Edwin Albert Robson (April 16, 1905 – October 21, 1986) was a United States federal judge.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Robson received an LL.B. from DePaul University College of Law in 1928. He was in private practice in Chicago, Illinois from 1928 to 1945. He was a judge on the Superior Court, Cook County, Illinois from 1945 to 1949. He was a Chief Justice, Superior Court, Cook County, Illinois from 1949 to 1951. He was a judge on the Appellate Court, Illinois from 1951 to 1958.
Robson was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Robson received a recess appointment from President Dwight D. Eisenhower on September 29, 1958, to a seat vacated by Winfred G. Knoch. Formally nominated on January 17, 1959. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on April 29, 1959, and received his commission on April 30, 1959. He served as chief judge from 1970-1975. He assumed senior status on April 16, 1975. Robson served in that capacity until October 21, 1986, due to his death.
